Purchasing/Inventory Manager

Foodlink, a wholly Australian owned company located at Kingsgrove, is a food distributor servicing some of Sydney’s top eating venues.

We are looking for a highly experienced, energetic purchasing/inventory officer to join our team – this is a newly created position, we want you to make this job your own! You will be responsible for all purchasing and inventory control, working with the department managers, warehouse staff and suppliers.

You duties will include, but won’t be limited to:

· Submitting purchase orders to suppliers
· Following up late/ non deliveries
· Work collaboratively with suppliers, sales and warehousing teams
· Stock control and stocktaking
· Monitoring minimum stock quantities
· Inventory cost analysis and control
· Negotiate pricing with suppliers

Successful applicants will:

· Be capable of working in a high paced environment
· Be able to work independently but also in a large team
· Be highly experienced.
· Have good communication skills.

Location: Kingsgrove
Hours: 9am to 5pm, Mon to Fri
Basis: Permanent full-time
